Physiotherapy Four Peak Health (previously Jo Hewson Physiotherapy Ltd) provides physical therapy services to those in the Geraldine, Peel Forest, Orari, Temuka, Pleasant Point and Fairlie area.

Your condition does not have to be accident related and you can make an appointment without a doctors referral by phone or email. On our first assessment we will complete the appropriate paperwork, recommend a rehabilitation plan and if required we can refer you to the appropriate specialist. We are open 5 days a week with 30 minute appointments available.

Meet the team...

Jo Hewson – Principal Physiotherapist and Director; BPhty, Post Grad Cert Phty

Jo graduated from Otago University in 1998 and worked within a hospital setting for over 3 years while she gained experience in a wide range of Physiotherapy services. On return to the Mainland she has focused on Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, and trained in Acupuncture. She also has an interest in Falls Prevention. Jo is pleased to have her clinic accredited with HDANZ (Health and Disability Auditing NZ) and feels this demonstrates her commitment to quality to Physiotherapy services here in Geraldine.

Liz Ball – Physiotherapist; BSc, BHSc(Physio), PGDip(Anatomy)

Originally from Geraldine Liz completed her training at Auckland University of Technology. She has over 10 years experience in the private practice and outpatient physiotherapy settings. Prior to returning to Geraldine Liz worked for 8 years in England, initially as a locum then working as a Specialist Physiotherapist in Melton Mowbray. Her professional areas of interest include acupuncture, chronic pain, sports injuries and Pilates based exercise programmes.

Roxane Wilson – Physiotherapist BPhty

Roxane graduated from University of Otago and spent time working as a hospital based Physio in both NZ and the UK. On returning to the South Island she started working in Private Practice. Since having her children Roxane has specialised in Falls Prevention in the Older Adult and now delivers both home based physiotherapy and community classes..

Bev Osborne – Physiotherapy Administrator

Bev assists the Physiotherapy team with administrative tasks, Health and Safety monitoring and auditing requirements. She has a vast knowledge of IT and ACC processes. Bev’s main job is Receptionist for Four Peak Health but on Wednesdays she will be found bringing order to the Physiotherapy systems.
